The challenge

Circle Square, which is a joint venture between Bruntwood SciTech and Vita Group site, is a vibrant new neighbourhood in the heart of Manchester’s innovation district. With a mix of commercial, residential and retail units the estate management team wanted an easy to set up, reliable service from a cost-effective and local operator, who offered an ongoing commitment to excellent service as well as waste reduction and recycling target achievement.

The solution

Fresh Start service includes their twin bodied vehicles visiting Circle Square on a scheduled basis to transport pre-segregated recycling and waste items to their local Manchester site for further sorting to maximise recycling levels. All recyclable and non-recyclable materials collected are either recycled or converted into energy from waste right here in the North West to minimise travel and carbon impact and maximise local economy growth.
