Carbon-conscious Fresh Start Waste Services have furthered their commitment to providing businesses across the North West with waste reduction and recycling services through their recent substantial investment in a brand-new recycling facility.

Fresh Start have produced a video outlining the process which follows the collection of customer waste as it is processed for recycling. This no holds barred video shows with total transparency a COVID-Secure look inside the operational side of maximising recycling of waste collected at Fresh Start Waste.

Nicola McGrath, CEO at Fresh Start Waste commented: “Our commitment to truly moving customers up the waste hierarchy extends from our waste reduction programmes, in ensuring as much waste as possible, which cannot be reused is recycled, hence avoiding landfill where possible.”

“Our new facility is testament to this goal, and allows us to remove metal, cardboard, plastic, food, and glass. Our process ensures maximum recycling levels are achieved, and minimum residual waste is produced which would then be sent to regional waste to energy facilities.

We are very proud of standing by our commitment to minimise the environmental impact especially during the COVID-19 pandemic and are pleased to be able to continue to recycle as much of our customers waste as possible.”
