Fresh Start Waste Services is delighted to announce the successful completion of their 20K Walk for Wellbeing, exceeding their £1000 fundraising goal. The team completed the challenge in just four hours, displaying outstanding teamwork and determination.

This walk was organised to raise funds for Hospitality Action, a charity dedicated to supporting those in the hospitality industry who face challenges like financial hardship, mental health struggles, and physical illness. Fresh Start have been long term supporters of this cause in recognition of the vital role hospitality plays in communities and the pressures faced by those working in the sector.

Sean Martins, Director of Sales and Marketing at Fresh Start, expressed his pride in the team’s achievement:

“We couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome of the walk. Not only did we surpass our fundraising target, but the whole team came together to make this event a success. Taking part in the 20K Walk for Wellbeing was important to us because we believe in supporting Hospitality Action and the incredible work they do for people in the hospitality industry. Finishing in four hours is a testament to everyone’s commitment to the cause and their determination to make a difference.”

The funds raised will go directly to Hospitality Action, providing vital support to hospitality workers facing difficulties. Fresh Start is proud to be part of this effort and remains dedicated to contributing to causes that benefit both local communities and the industries they serve.

The team’s accomplishment in the 20K Walk for Wellbeing underscores their commitment to making a positive impact, and they look forward to future opportunities to support important charitable initiatives.
