New woodland planted by Fresh Start in carbon capture scheme

Fresh Start Waste Services is proud to have planted 8,000 trees in a Cumbrian woodland to mitigate our annual carbon footprint. Our Chief Executive Officer, Nicola McGrath, recently took a tour of the site, where alder, oak, birch and sycamore trees will flourish for years to come as part of the innovative Forest Carbon scheme.

Fresh Start waste welcome two new vehicles

We are delighted to announce the further modernisation of our fleet of vehicles with the arrival of two new DAF waste wagons. While they are capable of processing up to three different streams at a time, our new trucks will be specialising in the collection of glass and food waste from businesses throughout the North West.
