Fresh Start Waste are well known for their support of local charities and ongoing work with food banks and the Trussell Trust. This year Fresh Start staff are taking part in a reverse Advent Calendar scheme to support their local food bank once again.
Instead of receiving a gift each day, those taking part will DONATE an item every day.
At the end of the Advent Calendar collection, the combined food will be delivered to the local Trussell Trust food bank just in time for Christmas.
Sean Martins, Head of Sales and Marketing at Fresh Start Waste said “The Fresh Start team are always keen to support those struggling with food poverty, especially at Christmas time so I’m pleased to say that a large number of staff have already committed to bringing in 20 items over the 20 days so we should have lots of goodies to deliver to the food bank to help those in need just before Christmas.”
