Our experienced events team services many events across the North West every year. We have site-based crews for larger events and all our team has the expertise to manage everything thrown at them, as well know the British ‘summertime’ weather and record crowds can all have an impact.

Our bespoke waste management service is tailored to your needs following advanced planning meetings to determine priorities, be that recycling or ‘all in one bin’.

The good news is all waste collected even if ‘all in one bin’ will be processed at our £1m state of the art materials recovery facility to maximise recycling levels.

We communicate closely with you every step of the way and also liaise with event organisers, production companies and cleaning companies to take the burden away from you.

Depending on your event set up we can provide stallholders, caterers and traders with specialist waste bins and food caddies, to encourage segregation and recycling back-of-house, as well as in public areas.

Our total waste management service for events includes us installing a variety of bins in appropriate shapes and sizes – often in bin station areas – to help segregate the different types of waste.

Simpler Recycling

From March 31st 2025, all businesses with 10 or more full time equivalent employees must segregate their waste streams at source. This is to allow for easier and more efficient recycling. Schools, hospitals and commercial enterprises must all comply with these new laws and separate the following waste:

Plastic, glass, metal (cans, tins and foil), cartons & tetrapaks, paper and cardboard, and food waste.

Businesses with less than 10 employees are advised to separate any materials that generate over 5kg of waste, but will not be subject to the new laws until March 2027.

In partnership we developed a programme of container deliveries and collections for general waste as well as glass were separately collected and taken for sorting at Fresh Start’s state of the art materials recovery facility in Swinton. Recyclable materials were removed for recycling, and residual waste making its way to a North West based energy from waste facility to generate green energy, with zero waste going to landfill.
